Si è appena conclusa la cerimonia di premiazione degli Emmy Awards 2019. Moltissime nomination ovviamente per Netflix, capace di collezionare 117 candidature. A dominare quest’anno è stata però HBO.
La rete che trasmette Game of Thrones, che ha ottenuto addirittura trentadue candidature (record assoluto), ha sbaragliato la concorrenza portandosi a casa ben 137 nominations, frutto dell’enorme successo sia dell’ultima stagione delle avventure di Jon Snow e compagni che di quello della mini-serie Chernobyl, una delle sorprese più piacevoli dell’anno, oltre che di tutti gli altri lavori targati HBO.
